Zámer kontaktu s najnovšou tvorbou dvoch prozaičiek feministickej literatúry smeruje k vyme-dzeniu ústredných poznávacích stratégií vyhranených autoriek, z ktorých Farkašová sa uzatvorila do látky, tematiky aj problému mravného a myšlienkového vyrovnania sa s rodinnou empíriou a s faktom bolesti, neporozumenia aj smrti. Juráňová má širšiu látkovú aj tematickú základňu, obmieňa historickú postavu a historické spoločenské reálie s literárnou postavou, hľadá hodnotiaci postoj ženskej postavy k anonymite mesta aj jej straty na vidieku, uprednostňuje samotu, osamelosť a dôstojnosť v činoch svojej ženskej literárnej postavy. and The intention of contacting with the latest work of the two women prose writers of the feminist literature leads towards the determination of central cognitive strategies of well-defined women authors of which Farkašová is closed into the subject, theme and the problem of copying with the family empiricism, the fact of pain, misunderstanding and death in morality and reasoning. Juráňová has broader subject and thematic bases, she substitutes a historic character and historic social reality for a literary character, looks for the evaluating attitude of a female character to the anonymity of the city and its loss in rural environment, prefers solitude, loneliness and dignity in the acts of her female literary character.
Prozaik, dramatik, režisér, upravovateľ iných autorských textov Karol Horák patrí medzi tvorcov prozaických a dramatických textov, ktoré majú výrazne mravnú pointu. Je to autor, ktorý tvorí vo viacerých literárnych druhoch a žánroch, ale pracuje s rovnakým problémom: Sústreďuje sa na jednotlivca v krízovej situácii, keď sa musí rozhodnúť, alebo konať. S postmodernými postupmi vo svojej tvorbe začínal v 70. rokoch minulého storočia, predovšetkým v textoch pre javiskovú realizáciu, kde experiment v priestore bol dominantný. Podstata Horákovej metódy v postmodernej koncepcii jeho tvorby sa spája s narátorom, konfliktom a kompozíciou textu. and Being a novelist, playwright, director and adapter of other authors' texts, Karol Horák belongs to the creators of prose and dramatic texts which have a significant moral punch line. He is the author using different genres, but dealing with the same problem. He concentrates on the individual in a crisis situation in which he/she has to make a decision or act. It was in the 1970s, when the author started applying postmodern methods to his works, primarily to the texts for staging, where the experiment in space was dominant. The essence of Horák's method in a postmodern conception of his writings is connected with a narrator, conflict and text composition.
V príspevku sa budeme zaoberať reflexiou vybraných motívov (umelca, kazateľa, premeny, cesty, úteku, kázania a jeho symbolov...) v umeleckom texte Júliusa Barča-Ivana, ktorý je spätý s kontextom východného Slovenska a ktorého formovala ideológia, ako aj spoločensko-politická situácia prvej ČSR. Vyberáme Barčovu-Ivanovu prózu, ktorá tematizuje „príbeh“ postavy podmienenej tienistými stránkami skutočnosti a v ktorej sa vybrané motívy prezentujú prostredníctvom umeleckých prostriedkov a postupov „z rozhrania“ expresionizmu a existencializmu. Barčove-Ivanove literárne diela plnia nielen estetickú funkciu, ale aj mimoestetické funkcie, keďže ťažia z ťažkej rodinnej alebo spoločensko-politickej, či sociálne podmienenej situácie, na tematizovanú situáciu sa v nich nazerá cez prizmu doby alebo kresťanskej a vitalistickej filozofie. and In this paper we consider about selected motifs (of artist, preacher, transformation, way, getaway, preaching and his symbols…) in the artistic text of Július Barč-Ivan, which is connected with the context of eastern Slovakia and which was formed by ideology, as well as socio-political situation of the first Czechoslovak Republic. We choose the Barč-Ivan's prose, which thematised the "story" of character conditional by dark sides of fact and in which selected motifs are presented through an artistic means and methods "from the interface" expressionism and existentialism. Barč-Ivan’s literary works fulfill not only an aesthetic function, but also other functions, since benefiting from a difficult family or socio-political, or socially conditioned situation, on the thematised situation is viewed through the prism of time, or vitalism and Christian philosophy.
The present study deals with Růžena Svobodová’s prose work from the turn of the century. It views the novels Zamotaná vlákna (Tangled Threads, 1899), Milenky (Mistresses, 1902) and the collection of short stories Pěšinkami srdce (The Paths of the Heart, 1902) as aesthetic phenomena, through which it is to some extent possible to (re-)construct the literary debate going on at that time, its trends and its transformations. By interpreting these novels and short stories against the backdrop of our knowledge of the author’s early works, as well as by comparing their journal and book versions, we aim to identify new elements in their content and form, which are essentially a manifestation of movements in the literary field.
This study summarizes a corpus-based analysis of tendencies in register variation of Czech-written fiction texts in the period from 1992 to 2018. The analysis is based on projection of the results from a large sample of Czech prose texts (1070 texts, 12.7 mil. words) on a general register model (established by previous research using multidimensional analysis). The major tendencies found in the material are a decrease of cohesion level, addressee coding and retrospective narration, and increased polythematicity/lexical richness. These findings are supplemented by additional analyses of the role of translation, the position of a text excerpt in the original text (beginning, middle and end) and type of text in the results
V príspevku Ruská próza s géniom loci sa pozornosť venuje súčasným ruským prozaičkám, ktoré v odlišných žánroch a s rozličnou tematikou venujú pozornosť spoločensky nerovnakému typu a nerovnakej skúsenosti ženskej literárnej postavy, ktorá je svojimi osobnými dejinami spojená s mestom Moskva. Zmyslom zapojenia ženskej postavy do deja sa stali aktuálne otázky individuálneho vyrovnávania sa s vlastným životom, so zvažovaním, ako ho chrániť pred zmenami, ale aj tým, ako sa sústrediť na zásadnú spoločenskú zmenu hodnoty vlastnej existencie. Spisovateľky nemoralizujú, nevytvárajú neriešiteľné sujetové kauzy. Naopak, s nadhľadom i vážne premýšľajú, ako uchovať autenticitu svojej literárnej postavy, prejaviť jej osobnosť a vôľu a ako nerezignovať na hodnoty, ktoré by naplnili život matky, manželky, uspokojili jej profesijné ambície a uchovali by jej jedinečnosť vo vzťahu k tomu, s kým žije a čo prežíva. Výber mestskej lokality a jej obyvateľov plní funkciu interného etnického znaku a historického symbolu. Univerzálne obnovovanému mýtu mesta Moskva voči iným ruským mestám emotívne porozumejú len jeho obyvatelia. and The contribution Russian Prose with a Genius Loci is focused on current Russian female prose writers who in different genres and different themes pay attention to a socially dissimilar type and dissimilar experience of a female literary character associated through her personal history with the city of Moscow. The purpose of a female character involvement in the plot is based on topical issues of the individual coping with one's own life, consideration how to protect it against changes and concentration on the fundamental social change in the value of one's own existence. The female writers do not moralize, do not create unsolvable subject cases. On the contrary, with a bird's-eye view or seriously they consider how to preserve the authenticity of their literary characters, how to show their personalities and strength and how not to resign from the values that would satisfy the life of a mother, wife, meet her professional ambitions and retain her uniqueness in relation to who she lives with and what she experiences. The selection of an urban location and its population serve as the internal ethnic attribute and historical symbol. A universally restored myth of the city of Moscow compared with other Russian cities is emotionally understood only by its residents.
Příspěvek se věnuje proměnám pohádkového žánru, zejména žánrové variantě autorské pohádky. Kontextově je zohledněno provázání české dětské literatury s ruskou v letech 1948–1989. Za nejzajímavější žánrovou variantu 2. poloviny 20. století lze považovat tzv. filozofizující pohádku. and The paper deals with the transformations of the fairy-tale genre, especially the genre of the author's fairy-tale. The linkage between the Czech and Russian children literatures in 1948–1989 is taken into consideration with respect to the context. The "philosophizing fairy-tale" – as it is called – can be regarded as the most interesting genre variant of the second half of the twentieth century.
