Na Fakultě chemicko-technologické (FChT) Univerzity Pardubice (UPa) je v rámci výzkumných záměrů, řady projektů mezinárodních i projektů národních studována příprava širokého spektra anorganických i organických materiálů a následně jejich fyzikálně-chemické vlastnosti. Jedním ze zájmu chemiků je příprava sloučenin materiálů s pokud možno předem zadanými vlastnostmi a možnost cílenou volbou chemického složení a způsobu přípravy vlastnosti materiálů účelně modifikovat. Je nepochybné, že chemik musí využívat řadu moderních fyzikální metod k diagnostice a musí často úzce spolupracovat s fyziky. V tomto krátkém příspěvku se pokusíme čtenáře stručnou formou informovat o některých vybraných výzkumných tématech, která jsou na FChT aktuálně řešena a jejichž řešení bude i nadále věnována systematická pozornost. and Ladislav Tichý.
The Second Argentine - Czech Biennale Workshop E-Golem took place in Buenos Aires on September 24-26, 2007. It was organized by the Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Secretariat for Science, Technology and Productive Innovation of the Argentine Republic, with suppport from the Czech Embassy in Argentine and the Argentine Embassy in the Czech Republic. Its general subject was Society of information and Communication - Emerging technologies and their applications in society and the arts. The aim of this event was to discuss this issue in detail such topics as, artificial intelligence, image processing, web-technologies, nano-technologies for life sciences, eco-technologies and so forth. CEFRES Platform and its new premises within the Czech Academy of Sciences were inaugurated on October 7-8, 2015. In 2015, theCAS built a brand newlibrary in order to hostCEFRES’smore than 6,000 volumes alongwith its teamand Prague’s Francophone readers. The new library was inaugurated during a ceremony in the presence of French Ambassador Jean-Pierre Asvazadourian, President of CAS Jiří Drahoš and Rector of Charles University Tomáš Zima. CEFRES (French Research Center in Humanities and Social Sciences) was founded in Prague in 1991 with the aim to restart scientific exchanges between France and Central Europe as the latter underwent major changes after the fall of communism. One of CEFRES’s tasks since then has been to build up a network of research teams between France, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia. and Luděk Svoboda.
