- Type:
- model:article and TEXT
- Subject:
- continuity, fuzzy entropy, fuzzy inference, and compositional rule of inference
- Language:
- English
- Description:
- Aiming at the previously-proposed entropy-based differently implicational algorithm of fuzzy inference, this study analyzes its continuity. To begin with, for the FMP (fuzzy modus ponens) and FMT (fuzzy modus tollens) problems, the continuous as well as uniformly continuous properties of the entropy-based differently implicational algorithm are demonstrated for the Tchebyshev and Hamming metrics, in which the R-implications derived from left-continuous t-norms are employed. Furthermore, four numerical fuzzy inference examples are provided, and it is found that the entropy-based differently implicational algorithm can obtain more reasonable solution in contrast with the fuzzy entropy full implication algorithm. Finally, in the entropy-based differently implicational algorithm, we point out that the first fuzzy implication reflects the effect of rule base, and that the second fuzzy implication embodies the inference mechanism.

- Subject:
- matematika, mathematics, Sobolevův prostor, ohraničená variace, kontinuita, one-sided maximal operator, Sobolev space, bounded variation, continuity, 13, and 51
- Language:
- English
- Description:
- In this paper we study the regularity properties of the one-dimensional one-sided Hardy-Littlewood maximal operators M+ and M−. More precisely, we prove that M+ and M− map W¹,p(R) → W1,p(R) with 1 < p < nekonečno, boundedly and continuously. In addition, we show that the discrete versions M+ and M− map BV(ℤ) → BV(ℤ) boundedly and map l¹(ℤ) → BV(ℤ) continuously. Specially, we obtain the sharp variation inequalities of M+ and M−, that is Var(M+(f))<Var(f) and Var(M−(f))<Var(f) if f ∈ BV(ℤ), where Var(f) is the total variation of f on ℤ and BV(ℤ) is the set of all functions f: ℤ → R satisfying Var(f) < nekonečno., Feng Liu, Suzhen Mao., and Obsahuje bibliografii

4. On the structure of continous uninorms
- Creator:
- Drygaś, Paweł
- Format:
- bez média and svazek
- Type:
- model:article and TEXT
- Subject:
- uninorms, continuity, t-norms, t-conorms, and ordinal sum of semigroups
- Language:
- English
- Description:
- Uninorms were introduced by Yager and Rybalov [13] as a generalization of triangular norms and conorms. We ask about properties of increasing, associative, continuous binary operation U in the unit interval with the neutral element e∈[0,1]. If operation U is continuous, then e=0 or e=1. So, we consider operations which are continuous in the open unit square. As a result every associative, increasing binary operation with the neutral element e∈(0,1), which is continuous in the open unit square may be given in [0,1)2 or (0,1]2 as an ordinal sum of a semigroup and a group. This group is isomorphic to the positive real numbers with multiplication. As a corollary we obtain the results of Hu, Li [7].

6. Otázka vzniku Československej republiky na území Slovenska
- Creator:

- Type:
- article, model:article, and TEXT
- Subject:
- continuity, normative theory, derogatory clause, creation of first Czechoslovak Republic, reception standard, kontinuita, normatívna teória, derogačná klauzula, vznik prvej ČSR, and recepčná norma
- Language:
- Czech
- Description:
- Vpredloženom článku sa snažím obhájiť tézu, že prvá Československá republika nemohla na území Slovenska právne vzniknúť už vyhlásením recepčnej normy neskôr prijatej ako zákon č. 11/1918 Sb. z. a n., teda už 28. októbra 1918.Obsah článku je štruktúrovaný tak, aby na jednej strane vynikla historická diskusia (deskriptívna úroveň článku), ktorá sa o uvedenom probléme v minulosti viedla, ale zároveň tak, aby závery vyplývajúce z uskutočnenej analýzy boli aplikovateľné aj na iné podobné prípady v rámci súčasnej argumentácie (preskriptívna úroveň článku).V článku preto postupujem najskôr od analýzy argumentácie podporujúcej tézu, že prvá Československá republika právne vznikla už 28. októbra 1918, pričom sa pokúšam vyrovnať s dôvodmi, ktoré uvádzali zástancovia tejto právnej fikcie.Následne sa venujem rozboru tézy, že prvá Československá republika nemohla na území Slovenska právne vzniknúť už 28. októbra 1918, pretože v uvedenom období ešte Československá republika na Slovensku nevykonávala efektívne svoju štátnu moc.V rámci argumentácie pritom využívam aj stabilnú judikatúru Najvyššieho správneho súdu.V závere článku sa snažím zhrnúť predchádzajúcu argumentáciu a poukázať tak nedostatočnú explanačnú silu právnej fikcie, ktorá považuje 28. október 1918 za dátum právneho vzniku prvej Československej republiky and In the presented article I try to defend the thesis that from legal point of view the first Czechoslovak Republic could not come to life on the territory of Slovakia on 28th of October in 1918. The content of the article is structured in order to present on the one hand, the historical discussion (descriptive level), that was held about this problem in the past, but at the same time to formulate conclusions that could be applied in other similar cases within present discussion (prescriptive level). In the beginning of the article we proceed from the analysis of an argument that supports the thesis that the first Czechoslovak Republic was created on 28th of October in 1918, while trying to come to terms with the arguments that support this legal fiction. Then I analyse the thesis that the first Czechoslovak Republic could not legally be created on the territory of Slovakia on 28th of October in 1918, because at that time Czechoslovak Republic didn’t execute its effective power in the territory of Slovakia. To support this thesis I use also the stable practice of the Supreme Administration court. At the end of the article I try to summarise previous arguments and point out the lack of explanatory power of legal fiction that the Czechoslovak republic was created on 28th of October in 1918.

7. Pozapomenutý civilista Emanuel Adler
- Creator:
- Kober, Jan
- Type:
- article, model:article, and TEXT
- Subject:
- Emanuel Adler, doctrine of civil law, legal history, continuity, Bohemian lands, Austrian lands, University of Prague, University of Vienna, and Cisleithania
- Language:
- Czech
- Description:
Článek se snaží vykročit vstříc poznání učencova života a díla v jeho šíři a celku různých právních oblastí, do nichž zasahovalo, včetně nenápadného vědcova spolupůsobení při významných právních reformách prvních let mladé Rakouské republiky. and Who was Emanuel Adler, a man who remains almost unknown in his Moravian birthplace as well as in Vienna where he held the university chair of civil law? Familiar only to very few civil law freaks and cited merely in special areas like law of name or studies of decline of the crafts production, his scholar personality as a whole as well his work on the field of emerging labour law remains in the shadow of a politician with whom he cooperated, Silesia-born Vice-chancellor of the Republic of Austria, Ferdinand Hanusch. Adler was born in 1873 in the town of Prostějov in Moravia, a part of the Bohemian Lands and of the Habsburg Empire. After law studies in Vienna, he worked for the State Procurement Office in Prague and the State Patent Office in Vienna and got the unpaid position of an Privatdozent at the Univesities in Prague and Vienna. Since 1918 until the end of his life he hold full chair of civil law at the University of Vienna and shortly participated on the new republican legislation in labour affairs as a section chief at the State Office of Social Affairs (Ministry of Social Affairs). His active scholar life ended prematurely in fifty-six years of age in Carlsbad,Bohemia. The paper aims to take first steps toward uncovering the life of this nearly forgotten legal scholar inconspiciously connected with the early years of the Austrian Republic and its important legal reforms.

- Type:
- model:article and TEXT
- Subject:
- grand Morrey space, variable exponent, non-doubling measure, metric measure space, Riesz potential, maximal operator, Sobolev's inequality, Trudinger's exponential inequality, and continuity
- Language:
- English
- Description:
- Our aim in this paper is to deal with the boundedness of the Hardy-Littlewood maximal operator on grand Morrey spaces of variable exponents over non-doubling measure spaces. As an application of the boundedness of the maximal operator, we establish Sobolev's inequality for Riesz potentials of functions in grand Morrey spaces of variable exponents over non-doubling measure spaces. We are also concerned with Trudinger's inequality and the continuity for Riesz potentials.

9. Symmetric implicational restriction method of fuzzy inference
- Creator:
- Tang, Yiming, Wu, Wenbin, Zhang, Youcheng, Pedrycz, Witold, Ren, Fuji, and Liu, Jun
- Format:
- bez média and svazek
- Type:
- model:article and TEXT
- Subject:
- continuity, fuzzy entropy, fuzzy inference, and compositional rule of inference
- Language:
- English
- Description:
- The symmetric implicational method is revealed from a different perspective based upon the restriction theory, which results in a novel fuzzy inference scheme called the symmetric implicational restriction method. Initially, the SIR-principles are put forward, which constitute optimized versions of the triple I restriction inference mechanism. Next, the existential requirements of basic solutions are given. The supremum (or infimum) of its basic solutions is achieved from some properties of fuzzy implications. The conditions are obtained for the supremum to become the maximum (or the infimum to be the minimum). Lastly, four concrete examples are provided, and it is shown that the new method is better than the triple I restriction method, because the former is able to let the inference more compact, and lead to more and superior particular inference schemes.

10. The continuity of superposition operators on some sequence spaces defined by moduli
- Creator:
- Kolk, Enno and Raidjõe, Annemai
- Format:
- bez média and svazek
- Type:
- model:article and TEXT
- Subject:
- sequence space, superposition operator, modulus function, and continuity
- Language:
- English
- Description:
- Let $\lambda $ and $\mu $ be solid sequence spaces. For a sequence of modulus functions $\Phi =(\varphi _{k})$ let $ \lambda (\Phi )= \lbrace x=(x_{k}) \: (\varphi _{k}(|x_{k}|))\in \lambda \rbrace $. Given another sequence of modulus functions $\Psi =(\psi _{k})$, we characterize the continuity of the superposition operators ${P_{f}}$ from $\lambda (\Phi )$ into $\mu (\Psi )$ for some Banach sequence spaces $\lambda $ and $\mu $ under the assumptions that the moduli $\varphi _{k}$ $(k \in \mathbb{N})$ are unbounded and the topologies on the sequence spaces $\lambda (\Phi )$ and $\mu (\Psi )$ are given by certain F-norms. As applications we consider superposition operators on some multiplier sequence spaces of Maddox type.
