Pro českou prózu tohoto období jsou příznačné tyto kompoziční principy: katenální, analogický, barevný, iterační, heptadický a eliptický. Z kompozičních postupů používají autoři následující prostředky: portrétní kapitola, metuzalémská postava, signifikantní čas, syžetový oblouk, deflektivní motiv a syžetový zkrat. Uvedené stavebné prostředky se vyskytují jak v tvorbě domácích autorů, tak těch, kteří již žili v exilu. Šíře a intenzita těchto prostředků je nejintenzívnější zejména u prozaiků, jejichž dílo je napojeno a ovlivněno jinonárodní literaturou (Hostovský, Kundera, Hrabal a další). Analýza kompoziční výstavby polské prózy šedesátých let je ukázána na díle Tadeusze Brezy, Marie Kuncewiczowé, Stanisława Dygata, Igora Newerlyho, Tadeusze Nowaka a Juliana Kawalce. and For the Czech prose of this period these compositional principles are distinctive: catenary, analogy, colourful, iterative, heptadical and elliptical. The compositional means in question appear in the work of both home and in exile living authors. The richness and intensity of these means is most concentrated by prose writers, whose work is influenced by and linked to nationally different literature ( Hostovský, Kundera, Hrabal and others). The analysis of the compositional structure of Polish prose of the 1960s is shown in the works of Tadeusz Breza, Marie Kuncewiczowa, Stanisław Dygat, Igor Newerly, Tadeusz Nowak and Julian Kawalec.
