Festival took place 20-22 June 2008 in Velké Meziříčí and it was organized by the Institute of Philosophy ASCR with cooperation of the town Velké Meziříčí. The idea of festival arose seven years ago in the north Italian town Modena. The festival has a goal to celebrate the philosophy and the literature, to go out from the academic grounds to the squares, parks and to address perceptive listeners and the young people especially. and Josef Gabriel.
Dlouhodobá aktivita Fyzika všemi smysly pořádaná katedrou didaktiky fyziky MFF UK se snaží skloubit hned několik věcí dohromady: středoškolákům představit fyziku atraktivní formou, učitelům fyziky ukázat zajímavé (a přitom dostupné) pomůcky, posluchačům učitelství fyziky dát prostor k trénování dovedností potřebných pro jejich budoucí povolání. Samozřejmou motivací je také snaha nalákat středoškoláky ke studiu učitelství., The long-term activity "Physics Through All Senses", which is organized by the Department of Physics Education, Faculty of Mathematics and Physics, Charles University, has three main goals intended for different groups of people: 1) to present physics as an attractive subject to high school students, 2) to show interesting, usable and affordable physics tools to their teachers and 3) to give training opportunity to lecturers and future physics teachers to practice their teaching skills. Pražské Letňany přilákaly ve dnech 19. až 21. května 2016 na 14 000 lidí, zvědavých, co pro ně připravilo 30 pracovišť Akademie věd i další popularizátoři na letošním „Veletrhu vědy“.
