The aim of this article is to present the design of methodology for diagnostic system, which can be used for process control in accredited testing laboratories. The verification of the proposed methodology is performed on a case study where the diagnostic system is introduced in accredited testing laboratory. The introduction of the diagnostic system is performed by the Balanced Scorecard method, which was completed with automated data processing by using MS Excel software tool. and Cílem tohoto článku je návrh metodiky diagnostického systému, který je možné využít pro řízení procesů v akreditovaných zkušebních laboratořích. Prezentovaná metodika je ověřena případovou studií, v níž je diagnostický systém zaveden do akreditované zkušební laboratoře metodou Balance Scorecard, doplněnou o automatizované zpracování dat softwarovým nástrojem MS Excel.
