3. Oscillation of second order neutral delay differential equations
- Creator:
- Džurina, J. and Hudáková, D.
- Format:
- bez média and svazek
- Type:
- model:article and TEXT
- Subject:
- differential equation, oscillation, second order, delay, neutral type, and integral averaging method
- Language:
- English
- Description:
- We establish some new oscillation criteria for the second order neutral delay differential equation [r(t)|[x(t) + p(t)x[τ (t)]]′ | α−1 [x(t) + p(t)x[τ (t)]]′ ] ′ + q(t)f(x[σ(t)]) = 0. The obtained results supplement those of Dzurina and Stavroulakis, Sun and Meng, Xu and Meng, Baculíková and Lacková. We also make a slight improvement of one assumption in the paper of Xu and Meng.

4. Photodynamic effect of 2,2'-dipyridyl and glutamic acid on wheat and vegetable marrow plants
- Creator:
- Koleva, A., Toneva, V., and Minkov, I.
- Format:
- Type:
- model:internalpart and TEXT
- Subject:
- chlorophyll synthesis, Cucurbita moschata Duch., epicotyl, hypocotyl, photodynamic herbicides, protochlorophyllide, root, shoot, and Triticum aestivum L.
- Language:
- Multiple languages
- Description:
- The possibility of simultaneously ušed chlorophyll (Chl) synthesis precursor (glutamic acid) and metal chelator (2,2'-dipyridyl) as a photodynamic inhibitor of the chlorophyll synthesis was studied. Wheat {Triticum aestivum L.) and vegetable marrow {Cucurbita moschata Duch.) leaves were treated with 2,2'-dipyridyl (2,2'- DP), and 2,2'-DP along with glutamic acid which increased the protochlorophyllide (Pchlide) content in the vegetable marrow plants to a higher extent. An irradiation of the treated leaves caused an inhibition of Pchlide reduction which was more notable in those of the dicotyledonous vegetable marrow plant.

5. Principi na podredbata na prevodnite săotvetstvija v dvuezičnite statoslavjansko-grăcki indeksi
- Creator:
- Ilieva, Tatjana
- Format:
- bez média and svazek
- Type:
- model:article and TEXT
- Subject:
- literary science, translations, lexicography, and bilingualism
- Language:
- Czech
- Description:
- The article deals with methodological problems during the compiling bilingual indexes. In the basis of the conception of the kind of lexicographic references lies the contemporary notion about lexis as a system. It displays the theoretic formulation of the structure of lexical articles introducing new terminological notions: translation multitude, translation double article (binomial - v matematikata) and triple article (trinominal - v matematikata), translation invariant and variant, translation dominant. After the common theoretic formulations the article represents their concrete appliance in the Slavonic - Greek index to the Old Bulgarian translation of the Book of prophet Ezekiel according to RNB SanktPeterburg F.I.461, performed in collaboration between The Czech Academy of Sciences and The Bulgarian Academy of Sciences.

6. Regulation of photosynthetic carbon metabolism by limiting irradiance in three different C4 plants
- Creator:
- Sailaja, M.V. and Rama Das, V.S.
- Format:
- Type:
- model:internalpart and TEXT
- Subject:
- alanine aminotransferase, Amaranthus, aspartate aminotransferase, Eleusine, Gomphrena, malate dehydrogenase, malic enzyme, phosphoenolpymvate carboxylase, photosynthetic acclimation, and pyruvate phosphate dikinase
- Language:
- Multiple languages
- Description:
- A low irradiance mediated regulation of C4 metabolism during acclimation is reported for first time in Amaranthus hypochondriacus L., a NAD-ME dicot, Eleusine coracana (L.) Gaertn., an NAD-ME monocot, and Gomphrena globosa, a NADP-ME dicot. Significant decline in activities of key C4 enzymes were observed under limited irradiances in each of the species studied. When the plants were transferred to full natural irradiance, the enzyme activities were restored to originál State in 3-5 d, a similar time frame needed for acclimation to limiting irradiance. This identifies the decarboxylation reaction involving NAD-ME in Amaranthus and Eleusine or NADP-ME in Gomphrena as crucial sites of regulation under limiting irradiance.
