Studie interpretuje princip fungování motivu tabu v knize povídek slovinského prozaika Lojze Kovačiče Příběhy z malovaných úlů. Všímá si způsobu začlenění tabu do textu i kategorizace různých typů tabu. Konstatuje, že v tomto smyslu není Kovačičova kniha povídek pouze postmoderní hříčkou, ale důsledně modernistickým, ke svobodnému subjektu apelujícím textem s etickým akcentem. and This study analyses the priciple of presentation of motif of taboo in short stories book of Slovenian writer Lojze Kovačič Příběhy z malovaných úlů (Stories from Painted Beehives). It notices the way of integrating the taboo into the text and categorization of different types of taboo. It concludes that in this point of view the Kovačič's book is not mere postmodern game, but exclusively modernistic text with ethic accent, pointing out to the freedom of the subject.
