Národní program zdraví ČR, který byl zahájen v 90. letech na základě formulovaných cílů obnovy a podpory zdraví v rámci tvorby zdravotní politiky, se postupně vytratil. Došlo k poklesu počtu finančních zdrojů a v jeho důsledku také programů. Trend úspor byl realizován dvou fázích. První byla zahájen v souvislosti s tzv. měnovou krizí v roce 1997 a druhá fáze úspor až k nule je patrna v souvislosti se vstupem do EU, jejíž prostředky zjevně umožňují Českým veřejným financím realizovat ještě větší úspory. Otázkou je, proč nebyly evropské prostředky aspoň částečně využity také v rámci Národního programu zdraví ČR?, National Health Programme of the Czech Republic, which was launched in the 90 years on the basis of formulated policy goals of health promotion, gradually disappeared. There has been a decline in financial resources and consequently also the programs. Trend of savings was realized in two phases. The first one was launched in connection with the monetary crisis in 1997 and the second phase to zero savings is evident in the context of EU accession, which allowed in the Czech public finances to realize even greater savings.
