Článek pojednává o historii politiky podpory zdraví v ČR v období let 1990 až 2012. Cílem článku je 1) zachytit odlišné přístupy k politice podpory zdraví (a potažmo ke zdraví a determinantám zdraví) formulované vládami ve významných koncepčních materiálech a 2) na základě studia sekundárních dokumentů identifikovat významné události samotné implementace sledované politiky. Vládou vnímaná (resp. v koncepčních dokumentech deklarovaná) hodnota zdraví a konkrétní pojetí determinant zdraví, které, jak článek ukazuje, do značné míry souvisí s politickou orientací vlád, jsou nikoliv jedinými, ale významnými faktory následně realizované politiky podpory zdraví., The paper deals with the history of health promotion policy in the Czech Republic during 1990–2012. The aims of the paper are as follows: 1) to reveal different approaches to health promotion policy (and to health and health determinants), defined by Czech governments in significant conceptual documents and 2) based on the study of secondary documents to identify significant events of the implementation of the policy under consideration.
