Pseudo $\star $-autonomous lattices are non-commutative generalizations of $\star $-autonomous lattices. It is proved that the class of pseudo $\star $-autonomous lattices is a variety of algebras which is term equivalent to the class of dualizing residuated lattices. It is shown that the kernels of congruences of pseudo $\star $-autonomous lattices can be described as their normal ideals.
In the present paper we deal with generalized $MV$-algebras ($GMV$-algebras, in short) in the sense of Galatos and Tsinakis. According to a result of the mentioned authors, $GMV$-algebras can be obtained by a truncation construction from lattice ordered groups. We investigate direct summands and retract mappings of $GMV$-algebras. The relations between $GMV$-algebras and lattice ordered groups are essential for this investigation.
We generalize the concept of an integral residuated lattice to join-semilattices with an upper bound where every principal order-filter (section) is a residuated semilattice; such a structure is called a {\it sectionally residuated semilattice}. Natural examples come from propositional logic. For instance, implication algebras (also known as Tarski algebras), which are the algebraic models of the implication fragment of the classical logic, are sectionally residuated semilattices such that every section is even a Boolean algebra. A similar situation rises in case of the Łukasiewicz multiple-valued logic where sections are bounded commutative BCK-algebras, hence MV-algebras. Likewise, every integral residuated (semi)lattice is sectionally residuated in a natural way. We show that sectionally residuated semilattices can be axiomatized as algebras $(A,r,\rightarrow ,\rightsquigarrow,1)$ of type $\langle 3,2,2,0\rangle $ where $(A,\rightarrow, \rightsquigarrow,1)$ is a $\{\rightarrow ,\rightsquigarrow,
1\}$-subreduct of an integral residuated lattice. We prove that every sectionally residuated {\it lattice} can be isomorphically embedded into a residuated lattice in which the ternary operation $r$ is given by $r(x,y,z)=(x\cdot y)ěe z$. Finally, we describe mutual connections between involutive sectionally residuated semilattices and certain biresiduation algebras.
Bounded commutative residuated lattice ordered monoids ($R\ell $-monoids) are a common generalization of, e.g., $BL$-algebras and Heyting algebras. In the paper, the properties of local and perfect bounded commutative $R\ell $-monoids are investigated.
Bounded residuated lattice ordered monoids (Rl-monoids) form a class of algebras which contains the class of Heyting algebras, i.e. algebras of the propositional intuitionistic logic, as well as the classes of algebras of important propositional fuzzy logics such as pseudo MV-algebras (or, equivalently, GMV-algebras) and pseudo BL-algebras (and so, particularly, MV-algebras and BL-algebras). Modal operators on Heyting algebras were studied by Macnab (1981), on MV-algebras were studied by Harlenderová and Rachůnek (2006) and on bounded commutative Rl-monoids in our paper which will apear in Math. Slovaca. Now we generalize modal operators to bounded Rl-monoids which need not be commutative and investigate their properties also for further derived algebras.
Bounded integral residuated lattices form a large class of algebras containing some classes of commutative and noncommutative algebras behind many-valued and fuzzy logics. In the paper, monotone modal operators (special cases of closure operators) are introduced and studied.
In this paper, we introduce a new class of residuated lattices called De Morgan residuated lattices, we show that the variety of De Morgan residuated lattices includes important subvarieties of residuated lattices such as Boolean algebras, MV-algebras, BL-algebras, Stonean residuated lattices, MTL-algebras and involution residuated lattices. We investigate specific properties of ideals in De Morgan residuated lattices, we state the prime ideal theorem and the pseudo-complementedness of the ideal lattice, we pay attention to prime, maximal, ⊙-prime ideals and to ideals that are meet-irreducible or meet-prime in the lattice of all ideals. We introduce the concept of an annihilator of a given subset of a De Morgan residuated lattice and we prove that annihilators are a particular kind of ideals. Also, regular annihilator and relative annihilator ideals are considered.
We investigate some (universal algebraic) properties of residuated lattices—algebras which play the role of structures of truth values of various systems of fuzzy logic.
