V prácí je uveden přehled typů inkontinence včetně vymezení hyperaktivního měchýře a vztahu k jednodivým formám inkontinence. Je upozorněno na zvláštni urogynekologickou problematiku u žen starých a přestárlých. V krátkém přehledu jsou popsány současné možnosti diagnostiky a léčby těchto stavů. Z vlastních zkušeností pak autoři vymezují vhodné diagnostické a léčebně postupy u stresové inkontinence a u osob s hyperaktivním měchýřem. Doporučují především neínvazivní diagnostiku, urodynamiku a z morfologických metod ultrazvuk. V léčbě dávají v geriatrii přednost konzervativním postupům. Přístup musí být individuální, což platí zejména v případech operační léčby stresové inkontinence., The overview of defined forms of urinary incontinence and its relation to the overactive bladder are described. The special problems of urogynecology in elderly are discussed. There are described the up-to-date methods of diagnostics and treatment of these disorders. According to their own experience the authors reccomend suitable procedures in stress incontinence and in women with an overactive bladder. Non-invasive diagnostics, urodynamics and ultrasound examination are recommended. In the treatment in elderly patient they prefer conservative procedures, too.
