Problematika HPV je novou kapitolou v léčbě nádorů hlavy a krku. Řeší se význam stanovení HPV pro praxi ve smyslu deintenzifikace léčby. Cílená léčba, intenzivně diskutovaná během posledních let se stabilizuje jak v indikacích, tak přípravcích. Nové léky zatím neprokázaly zajímavou účinnost. Opět se hovoří o užitečnosti indukce jak v léčbě místně pokročilých nádorů, tak v záchovných protokolech., HPV – associated head and neck cancer represent a new chapter in the therapy of head and neck cancer. Considerations for integrating targeted therapies into the current treratments for head and neck treatmens are more or less stabilized. No new effective drugs were introduced.
