Autoři prezentují formou kazuistického sdělení případ 57leté ženy s velmi vzácným extragenitálně lokalizovaným maligním Mülleriánským karcinosarkomem retroperitonea infiltrujícím dolní dutou žílu. Je popsána resekce tumoru s částí stěny duté žíly i resekce metastázy v oblasti pánve. Tumor resection with partial resection of the vena cava wall and resection of metastases in the pelvic area is described.
