3. Analýza nekeramického odpadu neolitického sídliště v Bylanech

Cílem práce je interpretace struktury a prostorového rozložení nekeramické složky odpadu, který se dochoval v archeologických nálezech neolitického sídliště v Bylanech u Kutné Hory. V rámci problému se soustředíme na tři roviny otázek. První se bude týkat zacházení s odpadem a jeho deponování v okolí domů, druhá rozložení nekeramického odpadu na sídlišti a třetí kvantity a struktury nekeramického odpadu z hlediska dlouhého trvání sídliště. Sledovanými kategoriemi nekeramického odpadu byly: štípaná industrie, broušená industrie, brousky, kameny a zrnotěrky (mlýny). Užitá metoda spočívala v prostorové analýze kvantitativního výskytu těchto druhů nálezů vzhledem k jejich pozici v rámci stavebních komplexů domů (usedlostí), prozkoumaných ploch i délce trvání osídlení. Doložit trend v deponování nekeramických artefaktů uvnitř usedlostí se nepodařilo; byl však prokázán excentrický rozptyl artefaktů vzhledem k pomyslnému středu osídlených ploch jednotlivých časoprostorových úseků. Na počtu domů a délce trvání osídlení je závislý počet artefaktů s výjimkou štípané industrie. Analýza průměrného počtu nekeramických nálezů vztažených na počet domů příslušného chronologického intervalu poukázala na možnost, že opuštěné usedlosti byly na sídlišti dále využívány, např. právě pro deponování odpadu. and This paper aims to provide an interpretation of the structure and spatial patterning of the non-pottery refuse preserved at the Neolithic site of Bylany. The problem is considered at three levels, tackling the questions of refuse management and deposition in the vicinity of houses (households), the spatial distribution of refuse within the settlement area as a whole, and the quantity and structure of non-pottery refuse from a long-term settlement perspective. The entire assemblage of non-pottery finds is divided into five categories: chipped stone industry, polished stone industry, grindstones, millstones and stones without use-wear traces. The method applied is based on GIS and multivariate statistics. The spatial distribution and quantity of refuse are analysed with respect to space (in terms of proximity to Neolithic houses and the whole of the excavated settled area) and time (the duration of settlement in six chronological intervals). No deliberate pattern of refuse management was identified in the vicinity of the houses, but the refuse was found to have a tendency towards eccentric grouping within the settled area as a whole. Refuse quantity is dependent on the number of houses and settlement duration. The negative correlation between the mean density of non-pottery artefacts per house and the number of houses in corresponding chronological intervals may be explained by the interpretation that refuse was commonly deposited within the areas of abandoned houses. These results correspond to ethnoarchaeological observations.

5. Antrakologický soubor z neolitického sídliště u Kolína: Příspěvek (nejen) k rekonstrukci lesní vegetace v neolitu České republiky

Antrakologická analýza provedená na reprezentativním souboru uhlíků získaném systematickým plavením výplní zahloubených objektů na sídlišti kultury s vypíchanou keramikou v Kolíně poskytla poněkud netypické spektrum dřevin mladšího neolitu. Místo očekávaného souboru stanovištně náročných listnáčů a dubu se v lokalitě vyskytoval soubor dubu s významným podílem borovice a příměsí nenáročných listnatých dřevin (bříza, líska, jabloňovité) typických pro společenstva acidofilních doubrav. Článek pojednává o historii, metodických možnostech, úskalích a výhodách rekonstrukce lesní vegetace pomocí antrakologické analýzy (analýzy uhlíků) z archeologických lokalit. Podává stručný souhrn antrakologických dat z neolitu České republiky. Zdůrazňuje význam metody pro tento typ rekonstrukce jako zdroje informací nezávislého na pylových datech. Na konkrétním příkladu antrakologického spektra z Kolína rekonstruuje lesní vegetaci v zázemí neolitické lokality. and The anthracological analysis conducted on a representative assemblage of charcoal acquired in the systematic wet sieving of the fill of cut features at the Stroked Pottery culture settlement in Kolín produced a rather atypical spectrum of Late Neolithic trees. Instead of the anticipated assemblage of environmentally sensitive deciduous trees and oak, the site featured oak with a prominent share of pine and a mix of undemanding deciduous trees (birch, hazel, apple) typical for acidophilic oak communities. The article addresses the history, methodological possibilities, pitfalls and advantages of the reconstruction of forest vegetation using the anthracological analysis (analysis of charcoal) of data collected from archaeological sites. The work presents a brief summary of anthracological data from the Neolithic period in the territory of the Czech Republic, emphasising the importance of the method for this type of reconstruction as a source of information independent of pollen data. Using the concrete example of the anthracological spectrum from Kolín, the article reconstructs the forest vegetation surrounding Neolithic sites.

9. Bestattungsformen des 6. und 5. Jahrtausends im Landkreis Deggendorf (Niederbayern) - Erkenntnisse aus 20 Jahren kommunaler archäologischer Denkmalpflege

Die vergangenen 20 Jahre intensiver archäologischer Denkmalpflege auf kommunaler Basis führten im niederbayerischen Landkreis Deggendorf zu völlig neuen Einblicken in das Bestattungswesen des Alt–, Mittel– und frühen Jungneolithikums. Die bedeutendsten Erkenntnisse konnten für die Linienbandkeramik durch die Entdeckung einer ganzen Reihe von Siedlungsbestattungen und eines Gräberfeldes gewonnen werden. Für das Mittelneolithikum gelang der erstmalige Nachweis einer Gräbergruppe, dem frühen Jungneolithikum konnten mehrere Einzelbestattungen innerhalb unterschiedlicher Siedlungsgruben hinzugefügt werden. Die in einem geografischen Ausschnitt des ostbayerischen Donauraumes erforschten Grabfunde besitzen in ihrer Gesamtheit überregionale Bedeutung. and FUNERALS OF THE 6TH AND 5TH MILLENNIUM B.C. AT LANDKREIS DEGGENDORF (LOWER BAVARIA): PERCEPTIONS OF 20 YEARS LOCAL HERITAGE MANAGEMENT. The intensive archaeological heritage management in the Landkreis Deggendorf let to new results concerning funerals in the Early, Middle and early Late Neolithic periods. The most important results were obtained for the Linearbandkeramik by the excavation of many graves in the context of settlements and of one cemetery. For the first time it was possible to excavate a group of graves, dated to the Middle Neolithic period and several single graves inside settlement pits from the Younger Neolithic period. These results are of importance not only for the eastern Bavarian region but for a wider range.
