Anotace:Multimediální postdramatická, lyricky pojatá inscenace přenáší na jeviště některé prvkypůvodního Euripidova dramatu, více než na důsledné předvedení dramatického děje hry sesoustřeďuje na některé její aspekty, především na antagonistickou dvojici Dionysos –Pentheus, téma cizinectví a na vytvoření bakchické atmosféry.Úzké podlouhlé jeviště vinohradského divadla D21 na první pohled působí jako industriálnípostapokalyptická skrumáž nejrůznějších objektů, jíž vévodí v levé části kožené manažerskéotočné křeslo a v pravé části zastaralá sprcha jako přinesená z normalizačního koupaliště.V průběhu představení je scéna průběžně zaplavována plochami světla různých barev (žlutá,červená, modrá) či se noří do tmy, ze které kužely ostrého světla vyřezávají jednotlivá místa,na kterých se odvíjí děj. Tuto diskotékovou, či předmoderně festivní atmosféru podporujevyužití snových, místy až psychedelických dotáček, a především živá hudba, či spíše zvukováa ruchová stopa, kterou pomocí obyčejných předmětů a syntezátoru produkují samotníherci.Zvuk a obraz tak mají v inscenaci dominantnější charakter než slovo, jež reprodukuje původnítext jen ve velmi omezené míře. Zůstávají zachovány klíčové Dionýsovy a Pentheovymonology a dialogy či jejich části, stejně jako vrcholný výstup Agave s Pentheovou hlavou,nicméně většina replik, které v inscenaci zazní, je autorského původu. Režijně-dramaturgickákoncepce podtrhuje především Pentheovu obezřetnost až odpor k čemukoli cizímu ametafyzickou schopnost Dionýsa ovládat lidi i situace (únik z vězení, zmámení Penthea).Pomocí jevištní metafory ukřižování je podpořena existující analogie mezi božstvemdionýsovského a kristovského typu. Anotace:Studentská inscenace překladu, který vznikl jako překlad dramatický, tedy se zřetelem ke skutečnosti, že překládané dílo původně určeno primárně nikoli k tichému čtení, ale k divadelní prezentaci. Inscenace provedená amatérskými herci za dramaturgické supervize odbornice na antické divadlo scénograficky vychází z dobového kontextu: scénu tvoří plochá kulisa táhnoucí se přes celý zadní horizont, která představuje - v souladu s inscenačními konvencemi palliáty - budovy, před nimiž se děj komedie odehrává (zleva dům kuplíře, chrám boha lékařství Asklépia a dům bankéře). Kostýmy jsou rovněž v antikizujícím stylu, pouze s drobnými vtipnými anachronismy (např. otrokova síťovka s nákupem nebo kuplířova francouzská hůl omotaná hadem, symbolem Asklépia). Herecké pojetí postav zhruba odpovídá hereckým konvencím comedie dell'arte, která se plautovské komedii do jisté míry podobá. Některé úseky jsou, stejně jako v originále, zpívané.Režijně-dramaturgická koncepce se snaží postihnout základní znaky originálního textu, tedy kombinaci fixovanosti a improvizovanosti divadelního tvaru, zcizovací efekty (např. připadá postava Referencie Podčarové, personifikované poznámky pod čarou), fyzické i jazykové komično a metatextovost (odkazy na Plauta jako autora textu, modernizovaná postava choréga, upozorňování na konvence římského práva atd.).Premiéra se uskutečnila v univerzitním kině Scala, další reprízy na ústavech klasických studií v České republice a na Slovensku, na Letní škole klasických studií atd.EP
