- Description:
- Článek představuje teoretické pozadí metody instrumentálního obohacování Reuvena Feuersteina a její využití v praxi. V oblasti zdravotnictví představuje její aplikaci u osob s traumatickým poškozením mozku a Parkinsonovou nemocí. and This article presents the theoretical background of Reuven Feuerstein´s Instrumental Enrichment and its application. It discusses Feuerstein´s life, his theory of structural cognitive modifiability, and mediated learning experience. It shows the application of the program in three areas – education, social area, and healthcare. In the area of education, it discusses the application in students with ADHD, specific learning disabilities, social disadvantage, and a teacher´s development. In the social area, it presents the application of the program in seniors, adults, and at the prison. In the area of healthcare, application in people with traumatic brain injury and Parkinson´s disease is presented.

- The South Moravia Region, Klentnice, hillfort, Urnfield period, earthwork, LIDAR, geomagnetic survey, metal detecting, looting, survey, and Urnfield society
- Language:
- Czech
- Description:
- Tabulová hora hillfort plays a prominent role in the landscape of the South Moravia region. The excavation in 50’s brought basic information about the wall construction. At the beginning of the 21st century rumours about illegal metal detecting activities started to spread. According to this rumours a significant number of Bronze Age hoards as well as exclusive items were illegally excavated. This sparked a new wave of professional interest leading to a series of archaeological non-destructive activities on the site. The aim of this study is to present new results of defence system survey as well as geomagnetic survey of particular hillfort sections. The results are confronted with the data coming from the past excavations. A discussion on the role of hillforts in the Urnfield society follows.

- Subject:
- religious motivation, identity, religiosity, everyday life, Christianity, and new religious movements
- Language:
- Czech
- Description:
- The study examines religious motivation in the believers’ attitudes. It seeks to identify contexts in which religious motivation is present or accentuated by the influence of believers’ other social characteristics (religion, locality, age, gender). Social aspect of religion determines, to some extent, social relations, ethical norms, and life goals (intentional strategies, unconscious actions). Study seeks to answer the question to what extent a person’s life is determined by his or her religious preferences and to what extent the faith is involved in the of everyday life. The issue has been studied in traditional and new Christian groups present in the Czech Republic and in South Moravian localities with different historical, cultural, and social development. The research shows that several influences play a role in shaping the views and choices of believers.

- Description:
- Coral reef bleaching is a global phenomenon poorly understood today. We investigated during 7 d the photosynthetic behaviour of symbionts of coral reef and temperate foraminifers in hospite, by means of the JIP-test. By this screening test the fast fluorescence rise O-J-I-P, measured by a Plant Efficiency Analyser (PEA) with 10 µs time resolution and 12 bit signal resolution, was analysed. It informs about the structure and function of photosystem 2 being at different physiological states established by adaptation to different irradiance and temperature. The test needs a measuring time in vivo of only 1 to 5 s, and thus many samples can be analysed. The measurements can be done continuously even on a single cell in a test tube or on the reef. The reef foraminifers tested here were Amphistegina and Amphisorus, freshly collected in Mauritius. As a temperate foraminifer, Sorites from the Mediterranean Sea was tested. The cells are very sensitive to slight temperature changes (25 to 32 °C). The comparison showed that the more the foraminifers live in an environment with constant temperature the less they are able to respond to temperature changes and, thus, the less they can adapt. Rising the temperature increases in general the sensitivity to different stress factors, such as high irradiance, pH, CO2, etc. After the test series, the cells recovered fully and were kept in an aquarium for long time observation. and R.
