This paper presents the database of manuscripts and bibliography of codicological literature, which has been developed by the Department for the Cataloguing and Study of Manuscript at the CAS Masaryk Institute and Archive. The database facilitates the cataloguing of new manuscripts and the inclusion of data from printed catalogues and records of retrospective and recent bibliography as well as updating existing descriptions. It comprises three interconnected sections: the database of manuscripts, the database of codicological literature and most recently the database of institutions and fonds, including current information on institutions owning and administering historical fonds and manuscript collections.
Presented paper is focused on description of algorithm for fast analysis of leveling process in detail and on verification of obtained results. The main idea is based on using Finite Element Method (FEM) and solving its fundamental equation. The algorithm is programmed using software MATLAB. The program has modular structure, so it is not complicated to modify any setting or utility. Leveling process of long semi products respecting the Eulerian approach is considered. Curved material passes through laterally offset rollers so repeated elasto-plastic bending occurs. Plastic deformation causes redistribution of residual stress. The semi product is straightened when rollers are appropriately positioned. Given problem is complicated due to high inherent nonlinearity and sensitivity, caused by cyclic plasticity. Useful setting of the leveling machine is found by iterative process, based on input measured geometrical data and material characteristics. and Obsahuje seznam literatury
Red alga contains four extrinsic proteins in photosystem II (PSII), which are PsbO, PsbV, PsbU, and PsbQ′. Except for the PsbQ′, the composition is the same in cyanobacterial PSII. Reconstitution analysis of cyanobacterial PSII has shown that oxygen-evolving activity does not depend on the presence of PsbQ′. Recently, the structure of red algal PSII was elucidated. However, the role of PsbQ′ remains unknown. In this study, the function of the acceptor side of PSII was analyzed in PsbQ′-reconstituted PSII by redox titration of QA and thermoluminescence. The redox potential of QA was positively shifted when PsbQ′ was attached to the PSII. The positive shift of QA is thought to cause a decrease in the amount of triplet chlorophyll in PSII. On the basis of these results, we propose that PsbQ′ has a photoprotective function when irradiated with strong light., M. Yamada, R. Nagao, M. Iwai, Y. Arai, A. Makita, H. Ohta, T.
