Description:

The article presents coherent theoretical considerations about the specific light reflection, absorption, scattering and redness properties of soils containing usually the haematite, goethite and remaining iron oxide-free components. For such a purpose, the relevant mathematical expressions are introduced and explained according to the considered three basic color classification systems, chosen redness rates definitions and soil components contents. Finally, examples of soil color effects are presented and interpreted. They ratify the usefulness of the exploited quantities and described evalutional proceduces for the routine soil colorimetry. and Článek prezentuje souvislé teoretické úvahy o specifických reflexních, absorpčních a rozptylových světelných jevech a efektech zčervenání zemin, obvykle obsahujících haematit, goethit a zbývající složky bez kysličníků železa. K tomuto účelu jsou zavedeny a vysvětleny příslušné matematické relace vzhleden k uvažovaným třem základním barevným klasifikačním systémům, vybraným definicím stupňů zčervenání a obsahům zeminových složek. Nakonec jsou uvedeny a vysvětleny příklady jejich specifických forem. Tyto formy potvrzují užitečnost využitých veličin a popsaných vyhodnocovacích postupů v běžné kolorimetrii zemin.
