Inscenace vznikla v rámci cyklu Antická Štvanice a je již pátým jevištním dílem uvedeným v tomto cyklu. Také tato inscenace pracovala s prostředím ostrova Štvanice a hrála se pod obloukem Hlávkova u mostu, jehož pilíře jsou zdobeny antikizujícími reliéfy Bohumila Kafky (Sen, Rozvaha, Práce a Díkůvzdání), a tak de facto avizují důležitá témata Senekova textu. Organizace samotného divadelního prostoru „pod mostem“ byla do jisté míry konzervativní: diváci seděli v prostoru stupňovitého theatron, v centrálním prostoru jeviště pod nimi se rozkládal záhonek se stromkem a jezírkem, to vše s průhledem do travnatého prostoru za mostním obloukem. Kostýmní řešení inscenaci rozložilo mezi dávnověk a současnost, přičemž antikizující oděv Herkulův byl výtvarnicí ironizován odkazy ke komiksovým superhrdinům (“trikot” a pláštěnka) a hrdinům popkultury (hokejová přílba opatřená řeckým chocholem) a podobně i kostým Amfitryonův – světlá tunika, ošuntělé sandály, ale k tomu oranžové tričko nápisem “Héraklés” vyvedeným v řečtině. Oproti tomu Megara je oděna do černého kostýmu, který sice působí moderně, ale objevují se v něm odkazy k antice, ať již jde o lehkou tuniku či páskové sandály. Lykos je naopak i kostýmně pojat jako novodobý self-made man, okázale elegantní až na hranici nevkusu.K inscenaci byla složena výrazná elektronická hudba, jež vycházela z rytmických a zvukové kvalit nového překladu Daniely Čadkové. Syrově rytmické rapované písně sboru (zastoupeného pouze zpěvákem a kytaristou) vsazovaly děj do časových souvislostí (líčí rodící se den, den Herkulova návratu), ale především dávaly kontextuální rámec jevištnímu jednání a na základě jednotlivostí, jež publikum na jevišti pozorovalo, odvozovaly pozici člověka v zákonitostech světa.Režisér a dramaturgyně této inscenace velmi pečlivě promýšleli veškeré detaily Senekova textu a přenášeli je do jevištní reality: předměty, části těla, pohyby a dalším podobná textová konkréta byla naplněna přesnou hereckou akcí, velmi určitým způsobem byly také dourčeny vztahy mezi postavami, ať již jde o věrnost dlouhodobě nepřítomnému manželu, který je prokazatelně sám nevěrný (odtud Megara s lahví v ruce), otázka skutečného otcovství zračící se v komplikovaném vztahu Herkula k Amfitryonovi, spojení lásky a vlády, jež se realizuje v Lykově touze po sňatku s Megarou. Režijní řešení těchto dramaturgicky komplikovaných situací bylo zároveň úsporné, možná to lze nazvat až řešením s pomocí „mluvících rekvizit“ – Megařina láhev tvrdého alkoholu, Herkulova boxerská obinadla či Lykův kufr (s nímž pak před Herkulem utíká a rozbíhá se do prostoru ostrova Štvanice) odkazují k důležitým tématům dramatu a inscenace.Kruté Herkulovy zločiny inscenace předvádí jako mátožný sen: po scéně zahalené do jakéhosi oparu pomalými kroky prochází Herkules a „vraždí“ podivným nástrojem, který si nese na zádech, snad postřikovačem stromů. Orosí jím nejprve naivisticky pojatá graffiti na stěnách mostu, znázorňující Herkulem kdysi zabité příšery, a poté obrátí svou „zbraň“ na Megaru. Vše je tak zpomalené a díky mohutnosti hudebního doprovodu i tragicky monumentální. Zároveň je scéně naprosto cizí antikvární pathos.Inscenace se nepříčila Senekou tematizovaným otázkám, tedy diskusi o zhoubném spěchu a zbrklosti, přemrštěných ambicích, a přílošném spoléhání na svou sílu, diskusi o vědomí vlastního konce, jež vybízí k opatrnému nakládání s pozemským časem.AS
Inscenace třetího ročníku izraelské herecké školy The Yoram Loewenstein Acting Studio z Tel Avivu byla v jediném představení uvedena 20. 4. na scéně HaDivadla jako součást festivalu hereckých škol Encounter 2018 v Brně. Herečka Michal Uziel získala za své ztvárnění Hekuby cenu festivalové poroty.Textová složka inscenace je adaptací Euripidových Trójanek, kterou v r. 1984 napsal izraelský dramatik Hanoch Levin. Hra se poměrně věrně drží dějové struktury předlohy, pouze zcela vypouští božský aspekt (Poseidóna a Athénu), takže se posiluje důraz na osamocenost hrdinů v jejich jobovském utrpení.Určujícím scénografickým prvkem jevištního ztvárnění je skutečnost, že celá plocha jeviště je pokryta tenkou vrstvou vody. Ta v průběhu představení máčí těla trójských žen, a zanechává tak viditelnou stopu násilí, které na nich řečtí muži páchají. V zadní části jeviště, které je zcela holé a černé, stejně jako kulisy ohraničující hrací prostor, se nachází na výšku na podestě postavený kvádr, jakási vitrína, do níž hned na začátku představení vstoupí Helena a beze slova sleduje dění až do okamžiku, kdy má začít jednat. Minimum rekvizit zahrnuje papírovou loďku se světélkem, která propluje přes přední část jeviště ve chvíli, kdy Andromaché pohřbívá mrtvého Astyanakta, a Astyanaktova plyšového medvěda. Kostýmy odkazují k první polovině 20. století, postavy Řeků jsou oblečeny do nespecifických uniforem. Herecký styl má nejblíže k psychologickému realismu s mírou patosu odpovídající poetickým kvalitám textu, jenž zachovává rétorický styl antického dramatu. Režie nepracuje s vizuálními metaforami, soustřeďuje se na herecké ztvárnění. Výrazným režijním momentem je závěr inscenace, kdy trójské ženy a řečtí muži přicházejí v řadě na protilehlé strany jeviště a jako v tanečním sále se „spárují“ podle logiky předchozího děje a začínají tančit ploužák, ženy se však postupně vyvinují z obětí mužů a odcházejí.EP
