The hoards situated on mountains, in rivers and on other landscape features of special appearance represent mainly sactrifices to deities. The relation between the ancient people and the landscape was much closer than it is for modern men and women; all of these features had their spiritual beings, who had to be worshipped to ensure the harmony between them and the humans. The nature was for the ancients created and given as definite, it could not be manipulated, as we now believe to be allowed to us in our „scientific“ mind.
