Cílem příspěvku je zahájit diskusi o tom, jak mohou být paleontologická data použita k testování různých evolučních teorií (např. teorie zamrzlé evoluce). Jako konkrétní příklad je použita studie na ramenonožcích (kmen Brachiopoda) rodu Aegiromena z postupného sledu nálezových souvrství ze svrchního ordoviku Pražské pánve. and This contribution aims at starting a discussion on how palaeontological data can be used for testing various evolutionary theories (e.g., that of frozen evolution). The study of lamp shells or brachiopods (the phylum Brachiopoda) belonging to the genus Aegiromena from an Upper Ordovician sequence in the Prague Basin is an example of such an approach.
