Description
Unused footage from a segment from the 1942 Český zvukový týdeník Aktualita (Czech Aktualita Sound Newsreel) Issue No. 13. The segment was supposed to encourage fuel saving and the use of alternative fuels. Car engines were converted to run on wood gas. Footage of a wood gas boiler being installed into a truck. Footage of a wood chipping machine and a filling station. Zbraslav Brewery and Alois Plicka trucks running on wood gas power are shown as an example.
