Description
The segment from the 1942 Český zvukový týdeník Aktualita (Czech Aktualita Sound Newsreel) Issue No. 46B informs about the significance of kitchen waste processing. Housewives are taking out waste in special containers. The garbage is transported in trucks for sterilising and further processing. One truck can transport up to 420 m/3 of waste per day. 100 kilograms of waste can be used to make a kilogram of compound feed. The segment ends with illustrative footage of pigs being fed in a piggery.
