Description
The segment from the 1942 Český zvukový týdeník Aktualita (Czech Aktualita Sound Newsreel) Issue No. 4 provides an overview of the Winter Aid Event in Prague. The used clothing and shoe collection benefited the German soldiers on the Eastern Front. A lorry with the parcels arrives at a building that has a collection room set up for this purpose. German soldiers sort the clothes and shoes and put them in sacks. The sacks of clothes are loaded into wagons at a train station.
