Description
The segment from the 1943 Český zvukový týdeník Aktualita (Czech Aktualita Sound Newsreel) Issue No. 23A encourages water conservation. Illustrative footage shows a dry riverbed, a water tanker, and a woman scooping water into a bucket. Water is being purified inside the waterworks. Workers are laying down water pipes. Water flows from a tap into a sink. Shots of people rinsing potatoes, washing their hair, and doing the dishes. The narrator urges viewers to conserve water.
