Description
The segment from the 1944 Český zvukový týdeník Aktualita (Czech Aktualita Sound Newsreel) Issue No. 40A informs the viewers about health care for factory workers during the Protectorate. Infirmaries for employees are set up directly at their workplaces. Footage from a company clinic where a doctor is bandaging a worker's injured knee, another one is removing a splinter from a worker's eye. A dentist is treating a worker's tooth. Patients get to use an infrared heater, an X-ray machine, and a personal sauna.
