Description
The segment from the 1941 Český zvukový týdeník Aktualita (Czech Aktualita Sound Newsreel) Issue No. 20B features the recycling process of old film rolls. We see several sequences from old feature films destined for disposal. The footage shows emulsion being washed off from the film and the process of making nail polish and shoe polish from the celluloid. A young woman paints her nails.
