Description
The segment from the 1944 Český zvukový týdeník Aktualita (Czech Aktualita Sound Newsreel) Issue No. 14A features evening sewing classes, organised by The Central National Workers Union (Národní odborová ústředna zaměstnanecká - NOÚZ). Women create new spring hats from old ones. They cut fabric, undo stitches, and re-stitch the old hats. The most beautiful products are shown off on models at a fashion show.
