Description
The segment from the 1938 Československý zvukový týdeník Aktualita (Czechoslovak Aktualita Sound Newsreel) Issue No. 21 shows off the newly opened psychiatric hospital, Masarykovo sanatorium pro choroby nervové a vnitřní (The Masaryk Sanatorium for the Nervous and Internal Diseases) near Dobříš. Patients sunbathe on loungers, while electrotherapy, hydrotherapy, and Scottish showers are being prepared for them. Patients using the inhalatorium. Footage of female patients during hydrotherapy.
