President Masaryk of the Sanatorium in Prosečnice

The segment depicts President Tomáš Garrigue Masaryk's visit to the construction site of the Lidové sanatorium (People's Sanatorium) in Prosečnice on 19 May 1920. The workers' sanatorium was built by the charitable society Humanita in 1916-22. It later fell under the Thomayer University Hospital and served as a tuberculosis treatment centre. Masaryk walks through the construction site in the company of his Chancellor Přemysl Šámal and member of the parliament Václav Johanis. A shot of the buildings under construction.
