The "Women's Interests" Exhibition

The segment from the 1944 Český zvukový týdeník Aktualita (Czech Aktualita Sound Newsreel) Issue No. 14B features an exhibition called "Women's Interests", organised by The Central National Workers Union (Národní odborová ústředna zaměstnanecká - NOÚZ). The exhibits consisted of new products made from discarded articles and materials, such as old curtains or swimsuits. Shots of the clothes, shoes, toys, bags, and handbags on display. The exhibition included an advice service that offered women interesting tips on how to make similar products.
