Description
The segment from the 1930 Elektajournal Issue No. 9 shows the finishing works on the Štefánik's Observatory building on Petřín Hill, designed by architect Václav Veselík. The grand opening ceremony of the eastern wing and the dome took place on June 24, 1928. The building was opened to the public on May 1, 1929. Shots of construction workers working on the roof's structure.
