Description
The segment from the 1929 weekly Deglův žurnál (Degl's Newsreel) Issue No. 38 depicts the early stages of the construction of the Jirásek Bridge in Prague. The project, designed by architects Vlastislav Hofman and František Mencl, got started in 1929. Shots depicting the baroque Dietzenhofer pavillion, demolished in 1929 due to the construction of the bridge.
