Unused film footage from a segment of the 1944 Český zvukový týdeník Aktualita (Czech Aktualita Sound Newsreel) Issue No. 10 shows a convalescent home in Vraný Castle near the town Slaný intended for children of miners from Kladno. Footage of the castle exterior. Children washing up in the shower room. Cooks working in the kitchen and baking sweet buns. Footage of the rooms' furnishings. A young girl is having a snack.
