Description
The segment from the 1940 Český zvukový týdeník Aktualita (Czech Aktualita Sound Newsreel) Issue No. 33B informs about the ongoing medical exams of employees of the Prague incinerator. The exams are organised by the Prague Zdravotní ústav (Health Institute). After a physical examination, the patients have their blood and urine samples taken. Part of the check-up is an X-ray examination. The exams determine not only the health of individuals but also the influence their work and working environment have on their well-being.
