Description
The segment from the 1937 Český zvukový týdeník Aktualita (Czech Aktualita Sound Newsreel) Issue No. 18 features renovations of the Teresian Wing of Prague Castle's Old Royal Palace (Starý královský palác), which were done from the 1920s onwards, under the expert supervision of one of the founders of modern built heritage preservation, architect Karel Fiala. Craftsmen restore historic masonry. President Edvard Beneš and his wife Hana observe the progress of the reconstructions.
