Foester in a segment of the documentary Galerie zvukových snímků vynikajících českých osobností (Gallery of sound footages of outstanding Czech personalities, 1934). Archival footage of his obituary in Československé filmové noviny (Czechoslovak Film News) 1951, issue no. 24.
